Pitt tries to snap its two-game losing streak in the ACC by facing a struggling Notre Dame team that's lost four of its last six games. Jeff Capel noted he saw an "edge" in his players this week in practice after the Panthers' Tuesday loss to North Carolina, but also noted how Notre Dame could score quickly. They are the ACC's fourth-best 3-point shooting team at 37.2 percent. How Pitt comes out against Notre Dame could be a defining point of the season, as the Panthers' following three opponents in Virginia Tech, Florida State and Louisville are all among the top four teams in the ACC.
