Pitt opens its basketball season in 2020 after going 16-17 last season, and 6-14 in the ACC. Saint Francis went 22-10 last season, and 13-5 in the NEC, finishing second in the conference and losing to Robert Morris in the conference tournament final. Pitt is 29-0 against Sant Francis, winning the last matchup between the programs in 2011, when Pitt won 71-47.
