It took ten days, but Pitt is finally about to play again, and against Syracuse in a sort of home-and-home rematch. Pitt won the previous game at the Carrier Dome, completing an 18-point comeback in a 63-60 win. Since that game, Syracuse has beaten Georgetown and lost to North Carolina after needing to postpone its game against Clemson. Pitt's 2-1 conference record has it placed seventh in the ACC, with both its wins coming on the road. Pitt will be missing freshman forward John Hugley after he was arrested and suspended from the team on Friday.
