THE SETUP
Pitt gets its first look against an opponent in an exhibition game with it's new roster that features three new transfer players in Dan Oladapo, Mouhamadou Gueye and Jamarius Burton, as well as JUCO addition Chris Payton and the return of sophomore John Hugley IV after his suspensions last season.
The Panthers have never faced Gannon in a regular season game but are 2-0 in exhibitions with wins in 2015 and 2004. Pitt is 61-5 all-time in exhibition games and is on a 37-game win streak in such games, with the last exhibition loss coming to Marathon Oil in 1998.
