Last week I wrote about how Pitt couldn't afford a letdown, and that's exactly what happened. But now that the Panthers know they won't be headed into ACC play undefeated, they need to at least go into conference play with some established momentum.
Pitt's offense has scored 40 or more points for three consecutive games for the first time in program history. That's led by the efforts of Kenny Pickett, whose ten touchdown passes is ninth-most in the NCAA, along with Jordan Addison's five touchdown receptions, third-most in the NCAA, and Lucas Krull's four touchdowns, which is the most of any tight end in college football.
All of that should add up to a smooth bounce-back week for Pitt, but if you want all the details of this matchup, checkout my Pitt Kickoff, which previews several matchups, provides quotes from players and coaches, full with players to watch and my final score prediction, here.
Gates open to the media at 10 a.m. Follow along with my coverage from Heinz Field here.
