THE SETUP
Pitt is back at home with a chance to finally get in the win column against UNC Wilmington. After dropping their first two games, the Panthers return home for five consecutive games to find out what kind of a team they can be this season.
Jeff Capel spoke Monday saying that Jamarius Burton had been able to participate in contact drills for the first time that day. He wouldn't say that Burton would play, but he wouldn't rule out that he would be available when asked. Pitt needs help at guard after Femi Odukale turned the ball over eight times against West Virginia and walk-on Onyebuchi Ezeakudo averaged 23 minutes over Pitt's first two games.
