Media notes: Pitt | Western Michigan

Pitt comes off a big road victory, recording the program's first victory over an SEC opponent since 2011 after downing Tennessee in Knoxville. But at 2-0, Pitt has momentum it cannot afford to surrender against Western Michigan. A win would mean the Panthers' second consecutive 3-0 start to a season and have Pitt set up with a home game against New Hampshire next week to finish its non-conference schedule undefeated.

But a loss would set the Panthers' back and put doubt into any notion that Pat Narduzzi could get his first season nine wins or more for the program. Read my Pitt Kickoff, previewing the game and with quotes, players to watch and my prediction on how it all plays out, here.

Gates open to the media at 10 a.m. Follow along with my coverage from Heinz Field here.
