As part of the pairings for the Atlantic 10 Conference schedule released Wednesday, the Duquesne University men's basketball team will face Dayton, Davidson, Loyola Chicago, Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure twice during the 2026-27 season.
It marks the fourth consecutive year the Dukes will face the Flyers twice during the regular season, while 2026-27 also marks the 21st straight year that Duquesne and St. Bonaventure will square off in a home-and-home series.
Duquesne is also facing the Wildcats and Rams in a home-and-home series for the second straight year, while new this season to a series is Loyola Chicago. The Dukes and Ramblers haven't faced off twice in the regular season since 1993, when both teams were members of the Midwestern Collegiate Conference (MCC).
The Bonnies are the closest geographical A-10 foe for the Dukes as well as the longest running rivalry in program history. The two programs have met 139 times in a series that dates to Feb. 13, 1920, with Duquesne having won six of the last nine meetings entering the 2026-27 season and St. Bonaventure leading the all-time series, 73-66. Nine of the last 10 meetings between the two programs have been decided by 10 points or less, including five by five points or fewer.
Also as part of its 2026-27 Atlantic 10 schedule, Duquesne will host Fordham, George Mason, Saint Joseph's and Saint Louis while visiting George Washington, La Salle, Richmond and VCU.
All 14 teams participate in the 2027 Atlantic 10 Championship, which returns to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., for the first time since 2024, a year the Dukes claimed the tournament crown.
