16-year-old Arsenal forward Max Dowman became the youngest person to ever score an English Premier League goal — 16 years, 73 days — going end to end in the 90+7th minute against Everton to secure a 2-0 victory:
THE STUFF OF LEGEND. 🤯
16-YEAR-OLD MAX DOWMAN GOES COAST-TO-COAST TO SEAL ARSENAL'S WIN. THE YOUNGEST GOALSCORER IN PREMIER LEAGUE HISTORY. pic.twitter.com/kYV5jY8DXt
Dowman also had a terrific service into the box that led to Arsenal's game-winning goal in the 89th minute.
My take: Dowman was 15 when the season began. What were you doing at 15? The small but deceptive touches on the scoring run show what a special player he'll be. The service on the first goal showed form beyond his years. A name to remember.
