The Vikings have tapped the reigning Super Bowl champions for their next general manager, agreeing to terms with Seahawks assistant general manger Nolan Teasley.
Teasley replaces Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who was fired January 30. Rob Brzezinski, the team's executive vice president of football operations, was serving as interim GM.
Teasley, 42, had been with the Seahawks for 13 seasons, the only franchise he's worked for. He began as an intern, worked as a pro scout for three seasons, was an assistant director of pro personnel for one season before becoming director for five years until his promotion to assistant GM in 2023.
My take: Good for Teasley, a self-made guy who wrote all 32 teams trying to get an internship at age 30.
