Fields, 27, spent one season with the Jets. Signed in free agency to be the starter, he completed 62.7 percent his passes for 1,259 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception in nine starts. Fields also rushed for 383 yards and four touchdowns.
However, Fields drew the ire of owner Woody Johnson, who blamed him for an overall terrible Jets offense. Fields lost his starting job, as the team went with Tyrod Taylor and Brady Cook for much of the season's second half.
My take: Finally, Fields will be in an organization that coaches well and has good offensive concepts. He may not see much playing time, but I have a feeling he'll be a productive backup there.
