It was Sanchez's first run allowed since April 30.
Sanchez's streak is the fifth longest in MLB history, trailing Orel Herschiser (59), Don Drysdale (58), Walter Johnson (55⅔) and Jack Coombs (53).
Sanchez set a franchise record in his last start, passing Grover Alexander's old mark of 41 innings.
My take: Very impressive. Historic — the best streak in almost 40 years.
