The Falcons have agreed to terms with receiver Drake London on a four-year, $141-million contract extension, with incentives maxing out the deal at $150 million. $100 million is guaranteed.
London, the eighth-overall draft pick in 2022, will play this season on his fifth-year option, with the extension beginning in 2027.
Despite appearing iun just 12 games last season due to injury, London caught 68 passes for 919 yards and seven touchdowns.
The $35.25-million AAV is the third-highest among receivers, trailing only Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Ja'Marr Chase.
My take: London has put up a ton of production in his four seasons, despite having no quarterbacks of note. New team prez Matt Ryan knows the score, securing a key weapon for the near future.
