The Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy has won the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's top goaltender this season, as voted on by the league's 32 general managers. It is his second Vezina, having won for the 2018-19 season.
Vasilevskiy received 17 first-place votes and 114 points. Ilya Sorokin of the Islanders was second with 51 points and the Bruins' Jeremy Swayman was third.
Vasilevskiy led the NHL with 39 wins, posting a 2.31 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage.
My take: No surprise, but how does Jon Cooper getthe Jack Adams when he has the best goalie? Didn't the broadcaster voters take that into account?
