The Knicks set a playoff scoring mark that seems unfathomable — the took a 47 point lead ... into halftime, 83-36 over the Hawks.
The Hawks, ironically, led 11-9 at one point, but the Knicks shot 60 percent from the field (44 percent from beyond the arc). As expected, the Hawks were a bit frustrated:
The Knicks ended up winning by 51 points, 140-89, taking the series four games to two.
My take: i was watching this game and couldn't believe it ... on the road in Atlanta, too. This is the type of thing one sees in a No. 1 vs. No. 16 game in the Women's NCAA Tournament, not an NBA playoff game.
