The Patriots have filled their Stefon Diggs-sized hole by agreeing to terms with former Packers receiver Romeo Doubs on a four-year deal worth nerly $80 million (full details have yet to be reported).
Doubs, 25, played four years for the Packers after taking him in the fourth-round out of Nevada in 2022. He played 59 games, catching 202 passes (141 for first downs) for 2,424 yards and 21 touchdowns.
My take: Doubs isn't explosive like Diggs but he is dependable. For a guy who's never had more than 724 yards receiving in a season, that's a huge chunk of change, but Drake Maye will be pleased to see him out on routes.
