The Brewers opened their season in impressive fashion, thrillig the home crowed at American Family Field with a combined 20 strikeouts of White Sox hitters, en route to a 14-2 win.
Jacob Misiorowski struck out 11 through his five-inning start, and four relievers combined to strike out nine of the final 12 White Sox outs to tie an Opening Day record and set a new franchise mark for team strikeouts in a nine-inning game.
The offense did its part, with five of Milwaukee's 12 hits going for extra bases, including home runs by Sam Frelick and Jake Bauers.
