The Senators appeared to tie the Hurricanes, 1-1, on the power play in the third period of Game 1, but the call is overturned after review despite being ruled a goal on the ice:
The call proved huge, with the Canes going up 2-0 shortly after on a Taylor Hall tally, which set the final score. Logan Stankoven's early second-period goal proved the game-winner.
My take: I can't see how that can be overturned. The call on the ice was a goal, so the replay would have to prove the puck did not cross the goal line, and there's no way to prove that.
