Mary Kay Cabot, Browns beat reporter for Cleveland.com, reported Wednesday that Myles Garrett was pulled over for excessive speed in February, the ninth time since 2017:
"Myles Garrett was cited for speeding again in Northeast Ohio," Cabot posted on X, "This time going 94 in a 70 on I-71N on Feb. 21st in Congress Township. It's at least his 9th speeding citation here since 2017 and the 2nd once since he flipped his Porsche in 2022."
Garrett's excesses on the road wore thin with former head coach Kevin Stefanski, who called his excessive-speeding violations a danger to himself and others.
My take: How does he still have a license? I don't know about Ohio law, but in New York's violation-points system, he wouldn't be able to hold a license with that level and frequency of offense. And Stefanski's right — Garrett's a danger on the road. These are only the times he's been caught.
