Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has won his second consecutive National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player award, the league announced Sunday.
SGA received 83 of the 100 first-place votes, finishing with 939 total points. Nuggets center Nikola Jokić was second with 834 points, and Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama was third with 589 points.
In 68 games, SGA averaged 31.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists.
My take: No surprise. The man's a machine and steals more foul calls than anyone else, leading the league in free throws per game.
