MLB's Play of the Week went to Mariners center fielder Julio Rodriguez:
My take: What a perfect route to the ball. A seemingly effortless race to the spot, then the perfectly-timed jump. So many elements to a great play. Refreshing to see a great catch rewarded. Too often "Top 10" plays are just outfielders jumping, often unnecessary, often the by-product of a terrible route to the ball.
