There's been a lot of harping Tuesday over an icing that wasn't called, leading to the Golden Knights game-winning goal over the Ducks in Game 1 on Monday night. Excusing the fact there was no whistle and the brutal defense by Jackson LaCombe and others that allowed Pavel Dorofayev to stickhandle from the corner to the crease for an assist on the layup goal by Ivan Barbashev, maybe the Ducks should be focusing more be on this:
My take: In a one-goal game, that's the difference right there. It was a crazy game for LaCombe, who was noticeably strong most of the night, but was bad on two Vegas goals ... and negligent for not shooting in the video above.
