The Blue Jackets would score shorthanded 23 seconds later. The Rangers rallied for four third-period goals to tie the game, but the Jackets took it in overtime, 5-4.
My take: Why is this a problem all of a sudden? It was always a bit subjective, but these calls this year, going both ways, often make zero sense — on par for the NHL.
