The late kick was so unnecessary and look at a career ending damage on the player.
The dangerous play resulted in a red card for Madibo, but Canada suffers a big loss.
My take: It would take a statistical miracle for Canada not to advance, leading Group B with four points and by a three-goal differential over Switzerland, so plenty of time to make adjustments, but they have no midfielder of Kone's ability on the depth chert.
