Formula 1 has canceled the scheduled races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as a safety precaution due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. There are no current plans to reschedule for 2026.
Bahrain was scheduled for April 10-12 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. Saudi Arabia was scheduled for the next week, April 17-19, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Jeddah.
My take: An obvious decision. With those Grands Prix off the schedule, it will be a full month between Japan in two weeks and Miami the first weekend in May. Though unfortunate, it will give teams time to make upgrades to their setups and analyze their power-unit performance quite early in the championship. The downside — not as much racing data collection to work from.
