The juggernaut that is the Dominican Republic ended its World Baseball Classic quarterfinal game inh the seventh inning, as an Austin Wells three-run homer in the bottom half gave them a 10-0 mercy-rule win over South Korea at loanDepot Park in Miami.
The Dominican improved to 5-0 in the tournament and they are wrecking teams. They now have outscored opponents 51-10.
My take: This lineup is just relentless but the pitching staff is being overlooked. led by Phillies ace Cristopher Sanchez and Sandy Alcantara of the Marlins.
