Vegas defenseman Shea Theodore scores with 52 seconds left in overtime to beat the Mammoth, 5-4, and tie their playoff series at two games apiece.
The Golden Knights believed they had the winning goal minutes before, but Jack Eichel was ruled offside.
Vegas entered the Delta Center in Salt Lake City and took it to the Mammoth for the first 30 minutes, scoring three unanswered goals, but Utah responded with four unanswered and the Knights needed a Brett Howden goal at 10:25 of the third to eventually get to overtime.
My take: A terrific series. Teams are pretty even — each has 13 goals through four games. Vegas really found their legs in overtime; it was a matter only of whether the clock would run out on the extra period.
