The Giants 2026 season is off to a bad start four months before their first game. It was confirmed through imaging Friday that defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris tore his Achilles during Thursday's OTAs. He will miss the 2026 season.
The nine-year veteran started all 17 games for the Giants last season — his first with the franchise — posting 35 tackles (three for a loss) and 6 quarterback hits.
Robertson-Harris was expected to be schemed to have a bigger impact this season, in the wake of the Giants' trade of Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals.
My take: Tough. There are always season-ending injuries throughout the preseason. For the player, it's a disaster; for the franchise, not ideal, but there's at least chance at this point to make changes or work a transaction.
