Bryan Rust will have a hearing with the NHL's department of player safety on Tuesday morning for an illegal check to the head of Brock Boeser at the end of Sunday's win over the Canucks. Rust skated in front of Boeser and leaned up for a hit as Rickard Rakell ran into Boeser from behind:
Boeser was put on injured reserve on Monday as a result of the hit.
