After Avery Hayes picked up two hat tricks in his first four games since being sent back to the AHL, I asked Dan Muse how challenging decisions are when it comes to what to do with Hayes once games resume.
"We've got some time here in terms of figuring things out," Muse said. "But it's great by him. I mean, for a guy to play the way he did there in his first NHL game, and then to follow it up by just continuing to push, it's not always the case. It's been awesome to see. He's playing really well, and it's great to see that he's just continued to build on that momentum of playing that first game."
