And no one will have more than the Penguins.
The new general figures will see a salary cap ceiling of $104 million, an increase of $8.5 million from this past season, as well as a $76.9 million floor and a $90.4 million midpoint. The maximum salary for any player will be $20.8 million.
Within that structure, per Spotrac, the Penguins will have $45.8 million in cap space, followed by the Sharks at $41.6 million, the Ducks at $41.5 million, the Blackhawks at $41.2 million, the Blue Jackets at $41.1 million, and the Flyers at $39.4 million. The team with the least cap space will be the Avalanche at $2.9 million.
