Ben Kindel took some time to do a little paperwork before leaving Pittsburgh after the end of development camp.
The Penguins on Tuesday signed Kindel, their 11th overall pick in this summer's draft, to a three-year entry-level contract. The contract will begin when Kindel turns pro, and so will not count toward the 50-contract limit in the meantime. Kindel has another two seasons before he's eligible to play in the AHL, and in the meantime his options are the NHL or back to junior in the WHL.
