Jack St. Ivany exited the Penguins' 3-2 win over the Canucks in the first period on Sunday and did not return. He's dealing with an upper-body injury, and it's unclear how he sustained it. St. Ivany blocked a shot in the first period, but it caught him somewhere in the foot area and not the upper-body.
I saw St. Ivany after the game and there wasn't anything visibly wrong with him, but he was holding a jacket that covered his left forearm and hand.
If St. Ivany were to miss any time, the Penguins have Connor Clifton and Ilya Solovyov as extra defensemen on the roster. Ryan Graves remains on injured reserve, which requires him to miss at least a week.
