It's not easy to find many cool storylines in a game that puts the Penguins on the brink of a sweep, but there was one in the Penguins' 5-2 loss to the Flyers on Wednesday.
Evgeni Malkin opened the scoring with a power-play goal, his 29th power-play goal in the playoffs in his career. That tied him with Mario Lemieux for the most in franchise history.
Malkin and Lemieux lead by a wide margin, too. Kevin Stevens and Sidney Crosby are tied behind them with 20 each, with Jaromir Jagr right behind at 19.
The goal was also Malkin's 15th ever in the playoffs against the Flyers, tying Crosby and Wayne Gretzky for the most goals against the Flyers by anyone in the playoffs in their career.
