Prior to his exit, Rakell appeared to be getting his left hand or arm checked on the bench.
Filip Hallander and EvgeniMalkin were among the players that rotated in on the top line, and AnthonyMantha was utilized on the top power-play unit in Rakell's absence, which coincided with the Penguins rallying from a two-goal deficit in the final six minutes of regulation.
"Guys realized that lines might be different or things might be switched up a bit, so I thought we handled it well," SidneyCrosby said. "We had a good push there to get ourselves back in it."
