The Penguins have signed forward Bill Zonnon to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Zonnon, 19, was selected 22nd overall of the 2025 NHL Draft -- one of three first-round picks. The 6-2, 190-pound forward spent 2025-26 with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL, recording 14 goals, 32 assists and 46 points in 35 games.
Zonnon missed 29 games at the start of the season due to injury. A knee injury in the preseason forced him to miss the Prospects Challenge. He sustained a second undisclosed injury in November. Despite that, his 46 points still rank sixth on the Armada.
He can turn pro next year because he is coming off his fourth season in the QMJHL.
