Nothing visibly wrong with Letang after early exit
Dan Muse didn’t have much of an update on Kris Letang after Letang was injured in the Penguins' 6-1 loss to the Rangers. Muse simply said Letang was being evaluated.
The injury came on Letang's first shift of the third period. He attempted to lay a hit, and was flung awkwardly into the boards, with his left leg swinging behind him and hitting the boards. He didn't put weight on his left leg immediately after:
I saw Letang leaving the building after that, and nothing was visibly wrong with him — no limp, not wearing anything that would indicate an injury.
The Penguins are set to practice Sunday before flying to Anaheim, Calif.
