Sidney Crosby skated today in Canada’s practice in Milan and remains questionable for tomorrow’s gold medal game.
Jon Cooper was asked if there’s a chance Crosby could be dressed as the 13th forward in a more limited role, and he shut that down.
“No,” Cooper said, per TSN. “It’s too important. We don’t want to have somebody in there as an inspiration when we could have a player capable of helping. You never know if guys are going to get hurt. He wouldn’t want to do that either.”
