• Carl Hagelin said he isn’t dropping the first puck tomorrow and that they got someone else to do it … my guess is Patric Hornqvist.
• Rickard Rakell still has a brace on his left hand.
• Another long practice, nearly an hour.
• Second unit: Kris Letang, Ville Koivunen, Tommy Novak, Kevin Hayes, Anthony Mantha.
• Same top unit: Erik Karlsson, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Ben Kindel, Bryan Rust
• Danton Heinen is the odd one out at forward, he's not even rotating in. The bottom two defense pairings were shuffled, there's no telling which one is the third and which is the fourth. But as good as Ryan Graves has been, my guess is his pairing is the third one.
