Crosby finished the tournament with two goals and four assists in four games after leaving Canada's quarterfinal game against Czechia with an injury. He had practiced with Canada since the injury, but missed the last two games of the tournament.
Penguins video coach and Wexford, Pa. native Madison Nikkel was part of the gold medal-winning effort for the U.S., as well as former Penguin Jake Guentzel and former Penguins staff Mike Sullivan, David Quinn, John Hynes, Mike Buckley, Tom Fitzgerald, Bill Guerin and equipment manager Teddy Richards.
