• Crosby with a beauty of a winner. Beats Greaves between the legs. Four unanswered to rally. Five wins in a row. Penguins 5, Blue Jackets 4 in OT
• To overtime we go. Third game beyond regulation between these teams this season. Penguins will salvage a point, despite being down by three goals in the second period.
• GOAL: Rakell ties it in front with 12.8 seconds left in regulation. Assists: Mantha, Crosby. Penguins 4, Blue Jackets 4
• Rakell with a chance in the slot but Provorov with a big block.
• Empty net. Penguins get the extra attacker.
• An unbelievable 84 shot attempts for the Penguins here today. Running out of time with less than three minutes left.
• The Penguins have outshot the Blue Jackets by a 30-11 margin over the second and third periods alone.
• Penguins continuing to apply pressure in the offensive zone. Karlsson came really close to tying this game. Shot rang off the post.

• GOAL: Novak buries a shot from the slot on the power play to make it a one-goal game. Time: 3:26. Assists: Kindel, Brazeau. Blue Jackets 4, Penguins 3
• Gaunce with a short-handed breakaway and he backhands a shot wide. He scored shorthanded yesterday, too. Seems like Columbus has had more chances on the PK than the Penguins have on the power play.
• Voronkov gets called for tripping and the Penguins go on the power play just over two minutes into the third. They've been unsuccessful on their two other chances here today. Really haven't been able to generate much at all.

• GOAL: Acciari is all alone in front of Greaves and scores. Nice back-hand feed near the blue line from Dewar to set him up. Time: 16:51. Assist: Dewar. Blue Jackets 4, Penguins 2
• Not a good two minutes with the man advantage there. Had one shot. Easy glove save for Greaves, who now has 25 saves here. Power-play units just not in sync.
• Fantilli gets two minutes for cross checking. Penguins power play with 6:23 left in the second.
• Penguins have 54 shot attempts and have 25 shots on goal compared to 18 for Columbus. They've had their share of chances here in the second but haven't been able to cash in. Credit where it's due to Greaves. He's been strong here today.
• Karlsson turns the puck over and almost costs the Penguins another goal. Was able to get back and stop Jenner from making this a four-goal game.
• Penguins getting some opportunities and some pressure in the offensive zone, but Greaves continues to say no. Looks like he made one particular save with his mask to stop Brazeau.
• Columbus just looks to be playing with so much more energy here. Not the same Penguins team we saw yesterday, or even over these last four games.
• GOAL: Blue Jackets add another. Traffic in front of the net and Werenski lets go of a shot that beats Silovs. Time: 0:47. Assists: Jenner, Olivier. Blue Jackets 4, Penguins 1
• Second period underway.
• End first period: Remember when the Penguins led 7-0 in shots on goal? Columbus finishes the first with an 12-9 edge in that category.
• Tough goal to allow in the final minutes of a period.
• GOAL: Marchenko scores from the right of Silovs. Came shortly after a shot was blocked by Lizotte. Werenski gained possession and delivered the puck to Marchenko. Time: 18:38. Assists: Werenski, Mateychuk. Blue Jackets 3, Penguins 1
• Two pretty bad plays by Kindel with the puck on his stick almost proved costly. One near the side of the net that Silovs is able to cover up.
• Shots on goal are now even at 9-9. Took some time for the Jackets to get going, but they now have hold of the momentum with 5:25 left in the first.

• GOAL: Mateychuk scores unassisted from beyond the left circle. Time: 8:21. Penguins 1, Blue Jackets 1
• Penguins with a commanding 7-0 edge in shots on goal over the first six-plus minutes. Really dominant in the early going.
• Very short welcome for Chinakhov on the jumbotron. Met with a fair share of boos.
• GOAL: What a start by Koivunen. Sets himself up in front of the net and buries a rebound chance after the initial shot by St. Ivany near the boards. Time: 1:48. Assist: St. Ivany. Penguins 1, Blue Jackets 0
