The Penguins recalled Avery Hayes and Joona Koppanen from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Anthony Mantha missed practice yesterday and is day-to-day with a lower-body injury but did make the trip here to Ottawa, so the Hayes recall could just be insurance in the event he can't play. The Koppanen recall would suggest that the Penguins were looking for insurance at center specifically, but it's not clear why exactly. Should find out at the morning skate shortly.
