The remaining eight teams will play in Tuesday's qualification round. Czechia plays Denmark, and the winner will advance to face Canada. Rickard Rakell, Erik Karlsson and Sweden will play Arturs Silovs and Latvia, with the winner moving on to face the U.S. in the quarterfinals. The winner of Germany and France will move on to play Slovakia, and the winner of Switzerland and Italy will go on to play Finland.
