Due to pending weather, today marked the final day of the regular season for the Arizona Fall League. The first round will now take place on Wednesday, with the semi-finals scheduled for Thursday. The AFL Championship game will still take place on Saturday.
Axiel Plaz went 1-2 with a run scored and two RBI for Scottsdale. He's now batting .354 with an OPS of .812. Esmerlyn Valdez went 1-3 with a run scored and an RBI.
Dominic Perachi made the start for Salt River, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over 3 2/3 innings pitched, picking up the win. Derek Diamond allowed two hits and a walk over 2 1/3 shutout innings.
