A good bit up for grabs in today's series finale here at Wrigley. The Pirates are seeking their first series sweep of the Cubs since Sept. 24-26, 2019, and their first sweep at Wrigley Field since April 14-16, 2017. They're also looking to move to five games above .500 for the first time since April 15, 2024 when they began the season with an 11-6 record.
What's interesting about that last sweep at Wrigley is that JamesonTaillon, today's Cubs starter, was the Pirates' starter on April 16, 2017 when they finished it off.
