Chandler has continued to rebound from that rough stretch here in July, posting his second straight shutout start on July 10 against Gwinnett.
In six innings, Chandler allowed five hits and two walks, while striking out seven. He picked up 15 whiffs on 47 swings (32%), eight of which were from the fastball. The change-up, his second-best pitch, had a whiff rate over 50% (4/7).
It's been two starts, but so far in July, Chandler has tossed 12 shutout innings, walking four and striking out 13.
