The Pirates didn't have any players earn enough votes to start in the 2025 All-Star Game on July 15 in Atlanta. Actually, the Pirates didn't have one player receive enough votes to crack the Top 10 for each infield position or the Top 20 for the outfield spots.
Shohei Ohtani was the top vote getter in the National League and will start at designated hitter. Aaron Judge received the most votes in the American League and will start in the outfield. All finalists will move on to Phase 2 of voting, which will begin Monday at noon and run until July 2.
Pitchers and reserves for both teams -- which totals 23 for each -- will be determined by "Player Ballot" choices and selections made by the Commissioner's Office. Full rosters will be announced at 5 p.m. on July 6.
