From a primetime Thursday night showdown to a once-in-a-generation championship anniversary celebration and everything in between, the 2026 Pitt Football promotional schedule will give fans plenty of reasons to be part of the action on the North Shore.
There will be something for everyone to enjoy as part of the Panthers' refreshed game day fan experience. Season tickets are available for purchase and start as low as $34 per game.
An overview of Pitt's game day promotions can be found below:
• Saturday, Sept. 5 vs. Miami (OH) — Pittsburgh Day
The 2026 home opener doubles as a celebration of the city and the program. Pittsburgh Day sets the tone for the season with a nod to everything that makes Pittsburgh unique.
• Saturday, Sept. 12 vs. UCF — Hall of Fame
Pitt honors the legends who helped build the program into what it is today. Hall of Fame weekend is a chance to recognize the history of Pitt athletics and those who made it. The full class will be announced in May.
• Thursday, Sept. 17 vs. Syracuse — Party on the North Shore
Acrisure Stadium and the North Shore will turn into a party for Pitt's primetime Thursday night game to open ACC play. Night games bring a different energy and this figures to be a highlight of the fall schedule.
• Saturday, Sept. 26 vs. Bucknell — Homecoming
Alumni, students and families come together for one of the most celebrated traditions on the Pitt calendar. Homecoming is always a special occasion, and this year's celebration promises to be no different.
• Saturday, Oct. 10 vs. North Carolina — 1976 National Championship Golden Anniversary
A golden anniversary 50 years in the making. Pitt will honor the legendary 1976 national championship team in a celebration befitting one of the program's greatest achievements. This is one fans won't want to miss.
• Saturday, Oct. 31 vs. Georgia Tech — Hail to Heroes
Halloween weekend takes on added meaning as Pitt pays tribute to our military, frontline workers and first responders who serve our country. Hail to Heroes is one of the most meaningful days on the home schedule each season.
• Friday, Nov. 13 vs. Florida State — Senior Night
The 2026 home schedule closes with a Friday night tribute to our seniors. And much like the Syracuse game, you won't want to miss this season-ending party on the North Shore.
