After a season with an anemic pass rush, the Ravens made the biggest splash of the offseason Friday night, acquiring five-time Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby from the Raiders for two first-round draft picks — one each in 2026 and 2027.
Crosby, 28, has 69.5 career sacks in 110 games over seven seasons, all with the Raiders, who selected him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Crosby is under contract for four more seasons in a range from $27.8- to $30.7 million.
My take: A great move by Baltimore. Crosby is the type of high-motor defender that fits the traditional Ravens mode, which was sorely lacking in 2025. He's not a high-teens sack guy, but he's also stout against the run. The Raiders have several holes to fill, so what's one more? Build the offense around Fernando Mendoza and Ashton Jeanty and start over on defense.
