Amarion Dickerson broke his single-game school record with eight blocks, and all five starters scored in double figures as RMU secured a 71-56 victory over Detroit Mercy on Wednesday night at the UPMC Events Center.
Dickerson previously set the school record with seven blocks on Nov. 14 against Stonehill. He grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, while AlvaroFolgueiras scored 16 points. Ryan Prather Jr. added 15, Kam Woods had 12 and DJ Smith contributed 10. Woods recorded six assists and Prather tied his career high with four three-pointers.
RMU hits the road for two games, beginning Feb. 8, at Northern Kentucky, followed by a matchup against Cleveland State on Feb. 12.
